This policy is relevant for individuals, organisations and businesses who are seeking to occupy Council land or buildings on a regular, recurrent basis and where the use of the land can be considered to be exclusive occupation.

This policy is not applicable to uses of public land that are identified/can be undertaken under a Local Approvals Policy, casual hiring/use and occupation of public facilities and spaces and where prescribed fees for that occupation are in place.
