Wollondilly Community, Cultural and Civic Precinct

As part of the Western Sydney City Deal, Wollondilly Shire Council has received funding through the Liveability Program for a number of community projects.

One of the key projects is the Wollondilly Community, Cultural and Civic Precinct.

The Precinct, located in Picton, would be a Shire wide community asset – a focus for local community, cultural and creative activity within the Wollondilly Shire.

Earlier in 2019, the community and other stakeholders provided valuable input that was used to develop a Draft Concept Plan for the Precinct. Further feedback was gathered during the second phase of consultation in July, which helped refine the plan.

The finalised Concept Plan was adopted by Wollondilly Council at their meeting on 19 August, 2019. The Concept Plan was submitted with Council’s Liveability Program funding application. Approval was announced in February 2020.
