Community Forum Guidelines

Adopted July 2022

Community Forums are generally held the week preceding an ordinary Council meeting, and provide the community with the opportunity to address Council on matters relating to the Council meeting agenda, or any general matter.

The matters raised help inform Council's decision-making process and may include items:

  • for information
  • for consideration
  • to gain support
  • to search for a solution to a problem
  • to highlight a concern
  • to provide positive or negative feedback.

The draft Community Forum Guidelines document was on Public Exhibition from 8 June 2022 until 20 July 2022.

    • Consider: Do you support the guidelines? What do you think the guidelines do well? Is there anything you don't agree with? Is anything left out? Etc.
    • Identify the ideas you want to comment on. It can be as much or little as you like, but please be clear.
    • Submit your comments: Either write your submission separately and upload it as a Word file or PDF, or, type your submission into the text box provided.
