Ultimately the aim is for Wollondilly Shire to have fast, reliable digital connectivity. In order for Council to advocate effectively, we need data from residents and businesses about their experience with connectivity. This information can then be used to advocate for upgrades to digital infrastructure.
As a peri-urban Shire on the fringe of Greater Sydney, Wollondilly currently connects to the internet through a mix of technologies. Some of us access fixed line connections, while others use fixed wireless, satellite, or mobile broadband. Many of us have relied heavily on internet connectivity during the pandemic, and Council often hears about poor internet and mobile connectivity.
We want to understand any service access barriers you’ve experienced, and how well your internet and mobile services meet your needs. There are three surveys:
Internet connectivity - for residents, businesses and institutions
Mobile phone connectivity - for residents, businesses and institutions
Health care industry internet connectivity - for managers and owners of health care practices
Take a survey and help us advocate for better digital infrastructure and connectivity in Wollondilly Shire. For more information call 4677 1100.
In the meantime, for individual assistance with issues, please contact your service provider.
