Bush Fire Recovery - Community Forums


Green Wattle Creek Bush Fire Recovery Actions Review

As part of Activate Wollondilly 2020 Council will be holding five (5) Bush Fire Community Forums to seek feedback on the recovery actions undertaken following the Green Wattle Creek fires. These forums will be facilitated by Anne Leadbeater OAM, survivor of the 2009 Black Saturday bush fires, and disaster recovery expert.

Locations

The forums will be held from 6:00 - 8:00pm in the following locations:

• 2 September – Oakdale Uniting Church Hall

• 10 September – Bargo Community Hall

• 17 September – Warragamba Town Hall

• 23 September – Buxton Public School Hall

• 30 September – Council Admin Building Picton

Participants can attend via ZOOM or face to face at the venue. A ZOOM link will be sent to registered participants.

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to fill out a survey below. There is one for residents and community members, and one for workers and support services. The questions reflect the topics that are being discussed at the forums.
