Wollondilly Cultural Precinct - Stage 2 Concept Designs
The Wollondilly Cultural Precinct seeks to provide a flexible, multipurpose community space that supports a diversity of community, cultural and civic activities, and attracts a wide range of community members, businesses and visitors.
Our vision is for the Cultural Precinct to become the community, civic, cultural and economic heart of Wollondilly. Work continues to progress to make this vision a reality.
Stage 2
We have been speaking with the community since 2019 about the different elements of the Wollondilly Cultural Precinct; and we want to continue the conversation to help inform the design of some of the key community and civic spaces that make up Stage 2 of the project.
The current stage of consultation is focused on developing concept designs for Stage 2 of the Wollondilly Cultural Precinct project which includes:
Village green
Library
Government Services Building
Concept Designs
A concept design is a high-level representation of proposed works and buildings or spaces for the area without going into the fine level of detail. The concept design will indicate location, size and scale (including height), relationship between buildings and spaces (including to any neighbouring properties), and the general ‘look and feel’ of the buildings and spaces.
Throughout this year we have been talking with you about concept designs for the village green, library and Government Services Building. We are currently reviewing all the feedback you have given us and will be refining the concept designs accordingly.
