Towards 2040 - Making Wollondilly Even Better Together
Now on Public Exhibition
Our community’s ideas have helped shape the draft Community Strategic Plan (CSP) – Wollondilly 2040 and supporting documents.
From services and infrastructure to sustainability and growth – we’ve listened, and now we want to double-check we’re heading in the right direction.
A Vision for the Shire
Our draft CSP outlines the community's long-term vision for the Shire. Underpinned by principles of social justice and sustainability, Council’s highest-level plan describes:
A vision for Wollondilly Shire
The aspirations of our community
The goals and focus areas that will make progress towards them
How success will be measured and reported.
The CSP also supports businesses and industries by helping them align their investments with local needs, while advancing our collective vision for Wollondilly. All levels of government and our elected representatives can refer to this plan when assessing community needs and prioritising advocacy efforts. Achieving this success requires collaboration, and we’re dedicated to working alongside our community partners to make our vision a reality.
Supporting Documents
The following range of strategic documents help bring the Community Strategic Plan to life.
The draft Delivery Program is a 4-year commitment to make progress towards the community’s vision, as described in the CSP. This includes our Draft Capital Works Program.
The Operational Plan & Budget is a detailed one-year plan which provides information on Council’s key services, projects, programs and budget for the upcoming financial year.
The Resourcing Strategy supports the CSP – Wollondilly 2040, the Delivery Program 2025-2029, and the annual Operational Plan 2025-2026. It outlines how we’ll help achieve these in terms of time, money, assets and people. There are three components:
Long Term Financial Plan (10 years)
Asset Management Strategy (10 years) and
Workforce Planning Strategy (4 years).
All of these documents combined guide how Council and its partners will deliver for the Wollondilly community so it's important you let us know how we are tracking. Take a moment to explore the documents and let us know if they reflect your priorities for Wollondilly's future.
