Strong, Safe, Connected - Wollondilly Resilience Plan

Help Shape a Connected and Resilient Future Together

Wollondilly has faced many challenges in recent years – from bushfires and floods, to the pandemic, and cost of living pressures. Through it all, the Wollondilly community has shown strength and genuine care for one another. We want to build on this and ensure we are prepared for addressing challenges in the future.

To do this, Council is creating the Wollondilly Resilience Plan – a four-year plan to help our community prepare for shocks (emergencies) and stressors (everyday challenges) and to strengthen social connections across our growing community.

The aim is to develop and implement a community-led resilience plan that reflects local strengths, needs and priorities, and identifies practical, place-based actions to be delivered over the next four years.

Community input and co-design are key factors as we develop the plan.

Phase One - Gathering Input in a Questionnaire

In the initial phase of engagement we invited you to complete a survey. It’s a ‘check-in’ to help determine where our community is at right now —

  • What is working well
  • What challenges remain
  • What would help you feel more prepared?

This helps us better understand your experiences, priorities, and ideas for making Wollondilly even stronger, more socially connected, and resilient.

Phase Two - Co-design Workshops

We have reviewed all the survey responses and now it’s time to turn ideas into action. We're inviting you to join a co-design workshop to help shape the Wollondilly Resilience Plan. Everyone is welcome.
