The Parks Waste Alliance is a group of councils in west and southwest Sydney working together to reduce waste going into landfill. It includes the councils of Wollondilly, Campbelltown, Camden, and Penrith.
What is proposed: Transitioning to a system where we reduce waste by reusing, repairing, and recycling items.
Why? To create a sustainable environment by keeping materials in use longer and reducing pollution.
Why we need you: Your experiences and insights are important to help us identify opportunities to share, lease, reuse, and repair products in our communities. This 'Saved from the Tip' questionnaire will help the Parks Waste Alliance understand community sentiment around repair cafes, tip shops, and libraries of things.
