Old Menangle School Site - Master Plan

We now have an adopted Master Plan for the Old Menangle School Site!

Thank you to everyone who provided their suggestions for the space and offered feedback on the draft Master Plan. More information is available in the report to Council (Section 12, p. 19).

Next steps

You may have noticed some works have already begun onsite with the clearance of some weed and overgrown vegetation to open up the connections through the site. Next we will be installing concrete pathways over stages.

We've also installed outdoor exercise equipment, with funding provided as part of the Western Sydney City Deal Liveability Program.

The plan will continue to be implemented in stages over the coming 5-10 years, subject to the availability of funding. We look forward to seeing the building rejuvenated and the surrounding area enhanced to make a fabulous space for the community to share.
