Illuminate Wollondilly - Looking to the Future

Night time scene of the old Picton Post Office lit up with digital projections; people looking and taking photographs

Wollondilly Shire Council is conducting an event review of Illuminate Wollondilly* to assist in planning and shaping the festival for the future.

We asked for feedback from the community, suppliers and internal stakeholders with the help of an external consultant to conduct the review and provide recommendations.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Your input is valuable and now we have a clearer picture of what you consider works well, what needs changing, and what direction we should embrace.

Stay tuned for further updates.

*Illuminate Wollondilly is an award winning arts and cultural festival which has been running for five years. Illuminate transforms the township of Picton with performing arts, live music, local and international food, market stalls selling eclectic items, and fun activities for all ages. As night falls, landmark buildings come to life – lit up with digital projections from emerging and established local artists. The town’s glowing buildings are the backdrop for the lantern parade, and the event concludes with a fireworks display.
