Grey-headed Flying Fox Camp

The Grey-headed Flying Fox camp in Picton has expanded to over 15,000 individuals - the largest the camp has been since monitoring started in 2013. We are aware of the impact the flying-foxes are having on neighbouring residents including noise, smell and mess, and we know that it can be very challenging to live alongside the camp.

Council has secured further funding to support the community in dealing with some of the issues from the camp. We will be making this available soon. Thank you to everyone who answered the survey and provided feedback on ways Council could help.

Survey closed at 5:00pm Friday 18 December 2020.
