Ethical Interactions with Lobbyists, Proponents, Applicants and Submitters Policy

Governments need to interact ethically with key stakeholders in the planning and development sector to ensure and maintain public trust.
To this end, Wollondilly Shire Council's Ethical Interactions with Lobbyists, Proponents, Applicants and Submitters Policy provides a comprehensive framework for ethical conduct in interactions with key stakeholders involved in planning and development matters.
A full review of the existing adopted policy (Interaction with Developers, Lobbyists and Submitters Policy) was conducted - with a focus on strengthening governance and transparency. Following a period of public exhibition, with no submissions received, the updated Policy was adopted at the conclusion of the exhibition period, as per Resolution 215/2025.
