Draft Public Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Policy

Wollondilly Shire Council is committed to enhancing community safety, protect community assets, and supporting law enforcement efforts through the responsible use of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems in public places.
We are inviting the community and relevant industry members to have their say in relation to the Draft Public Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Policy. This policy applies to all CCTV cameras owned, operated and/or managed by Wollondilly Shire Council in public places under its jurisdiction.
It also covers the planning, installation, management and use of CCTV hardware and software and the storage, release and disposal of CCTV recordings.
