Finalised July 2023

Land on Tylers Road in Bargo has been rezoned from Special Purposes to rural and environmental conservation zones.

At their meeting on 27 June 2023, Council supported the finalisation of the planning proposal to rezone the land at 20 Tylers Road, Bargo (Lot 2 DP 270324). This rezoning took effect on 28 July 2023.

These amendments to the Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan 2011 are to allow use of the site, now that the land is no longer required to provide private septic infrastructure. The amendments include rezoning the land from SP2 Infrastructure (Sewerage System) to a mix of RU4 Primary Production Small Lots and C2 Environmental Conservation. The amendments also amend the minimum lot size for subdivision and recognise biodiversity on the site for protection.
