Rezoning – Employment Land on Bridge Street, Picton

Land on Bridge St in Picton has been rezoned from rural to general industrial and environmental conservation zones.

At their meeting on 12 December 2023, Council supported the finalisation of the planning proposal to rezone the land at 120 & 140 Bridge St, Picton (Lots 10 and 11 DP 1012641). This rezoning took effect on 12 April 2024.

Amendments

  • Amended the Land Zoning Map to rezone land from RU2 Rural Landscape to E4 General Industrial at 140 Bridge Street and part 120 Bridge Street.
  • Amended the Lot Size Map for the land at 120 Bridge Street from 1,500sqm to 3,000sqm and for the land at 140 Bridge Street from 16ha to 8,000sqm.
  • Amended the Height of Buildings Map from no height limit to 12 metres.
  • Amended the Natural Resources – Biodiversity Map to include an environmentally sensitive area on the site.

Delegation

Council has been delegated as the Local Plan Making Authority for this Amendment.

Council may be required to release your written comments for submissions under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, or Local Government, 1993.
