Corrections to Wollondilly's heritage list and the proposed expansion of Menangle Landscape Conservation Area

Council is updating the Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan 2011 to correctly identify heritage items to ensure that Wollondilly's heritage can be appropriately protected, managed and conserved.

The proposal focuses on reviewing the existing listings, property information and mapped boundaries for listed heritage items.

The changes will:

  • update and correct errors on the legal heritage list
  • expand the Menangle Landscape Conservation Area

Council supported the proposed amendments at its July 2021 meeting and the amendments will soon be finalised.

The proposed changes are detailed in the Planning Proposal document available under 'Documents' that was on exhibition from 1 April 2021 to 7 May 2021.
