Appin Skate Park

Opening Postponed - Stay Tuned

Due to the need for physical distancing because of threat of COVID-19, the opening of Appin Skate Park has been postponed indefinitely. Once restrictions on gatherings are no longer necessary, we look forward to activating this new facility and celebrating with the community.

We are excited to announce that construction of Appin Skate Park is now underway and we are working towards opening the skate facility on Saturday, 18 April 2020 (weather permitting). Be sure to pencil it into your diaries!

Wollondilly Council has engaged the skate park design experts at Convic to take us through design, consultation and construction of the new Appin District Skate Facility.

Using community input to create the design, Convic then used further community feedback to finalise the design for the Appin District Skate Facility.

We look forward to activating this facility for the community to enjoy.

A big thank you to everyone who came out for our pop up skate park on 26 October! It was a great day and we received a lot of helpful feedback. Special thanks to the Totem Collective, Convic, and the Appin Men's Shed.

Appin Skate Park is part of the recently adopted Appin Park Master Plan and made possible with Liveability Program funding.
