Alcohol Free Zones (AFZ) are implemented in an effort to improve public safety by minimising antisocial behaviour caused by alcohol consumption in public areas. Public areas such as public roads, footpaths or public car parks may be included in a zone.
Wollondilly Shire Council has designated alcohol free zones in specific public areas in 11 towns and villages. These zones are established by Council with input from NSW Police and the local community.
Submissions closed at 5:00pm on Wednesday 28 April 2021.
